Hi, I'm currently looking at a 92 gxi which i'm interested in but i'm looking for information as to what power they have and the likes? Had a 94 saloon a few years back and for a standard car it could seriously handle but never had the power as it was a 1.3!!!! Any info greatly appreciated.

well gxi's where made from 1993 K to 1995 N

all had electric windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, remote central locking & ABS as standard

1.8 16v 7a-fe dohc 118bhp engine, group 13 insurance

rear spoiler, sideskirts, front fogs, nice dark interior, lovely seats

rarest colour was possibly bronze

good, fast cars, but the previous gti corolla was a much better faster car!

and multi spoke alloys, 13" i think maybe 14" not sure

Slower then the previous gti? Hmmm kinda disappointing from a 1.8. But what are they like to get more power out of? Also i see in another post that a 7age engine is being fitted, what engine is that?

I got a bronze one :P and she is half way throught getting a modded GTI engine, oh they had 14" alloys.

They also are alot more solid than GTI's, never seen one with a rust 'problem'

 No rust on mine, good car, rare, and once lowered with uprated shocks it also handles very nicely

Also, if you do get one, change the wheels, the standard 14s looks pants! :P
