Hi!!, my name is Dave, and i'm new to this forum, so please bear with me, early last year i bought a 3.0l tdi Surf, pleased as punch when i picked her up!!, it drove beautifully for the first six or so months, until one day i accidentally filled the tank with petrol!!, you can picture the rest, since then i bought a Chevy 350+box with every intention of fitting it!, however, the conversion plate required to do this proved to be extremely difficult to source.

Since buying these parts, several people have convinced me that this could prove long winded, what with independant test reports, not to mention Insurance etc!!, to put it mildly, i'm up a gumtree. does anyone have all know of a 3.0l tdi engine and box that might be for sale??.

I think that this is probably the most sensible way forward for me, and every time i see one of these beauties on the road, its breaking my heart thinking of mine just sitting on my drive, just waiting for some attention!!, i really would appreciate some help fellas.

I have a 3.0 turbo Supra engine, loom ecu and gearbox (well everything you need to make it work) for sale....I am sure I have heard about 7M-GTE powered Surfs before!!!!!
