Does Anyone Know?

From Mo'care, a baby seat is about 100 notes and a child seat is around 170. Dealer prices can vary but I found that they weren't much more expensive... Just more garish! :P

I got a really smart one from Mothercare that isn't ISO Fix and it's as solid as a rock (Child Seat - £80!). As long as you can fit them okay (get someone to kneel into the seat with all of their weight and tighten the straps) they're as good as any ISO Fix. Plus there are not as many vibrations passed to the seat via the ISO fixings - noted this in the other car.

The one in Nottingham is better as you can take them outside to test them. Can't do that in Mansfield. :(

My wife's got a Britax Eclipse (Not the Chavvy one!). Not bad. Harder to fix securely in the Avensis than mine, though, which is the Mothercare seat which is a doddle to fit in the 'vensis.

There's also some very good info about ISO Fix on the AA site.
