1990 Corolla Gti 16v

Hi everyone I have a 1.6l gti twin cam.

There are a few things i would like to know.

The bodywork is quite rusty and I will need to find a new hatchback. As the car is quite rare

does anyone know if a hatch from another standard corolla of the same era would fit my car.

Also how rare is the car in terms of collectibility and worth.

the normal 3dr corolla hatch is the same but you will have to drill the holes for the spoiler.

there are still a few GTi-16's about but rust is killing a lot of em off.

they have always been underrated so ppl scrap em off rather than repair.

i see em as a future classic

yep totally agree with dawesy they are very underated, well worth looking after or if you have the money rebuilding from the ground up. as a matter of interest i priced a new bootlid with toyota a couple of wks age, £280 quid - that includes VAT. not too bad except that doesnt include galss or obviously a GTi spoiler. is it worth it??

Mines showing sins now and i fink il end up buying one,its not worth the a**ache with cuttin bits out to find a differant spot starts,Played that game!

Im not sure on the price ,il have a look in the morning and drop a post..
