I can't find any diagrams of my ECU that shows where the RPM signal is!

The ECU has two connectors, a 26 pin and a 12 pin connector...

If someone has a diagram or know which wire I can find the signal in, please help........

My car: Toyota Corolla 1,3 from 1995.

have a look on www.apeix-usa.com and download the RSM wiring install manual (.pdf). It should be in there ..

hmm... I can't seem to find anything at that site. I found it at http://www.apexi-usa.com indstead of the one you wrote...

All diagrams have 26 pin + 16 pin or 26 pin + 16 pin + 12 pin ...

Mine just have 26 pin + 12 pin .....

True ..

But looking at the rest .. the RPM seems to be one of two or three pins on the 26 block.

Any chance of trying those few?

Do you have an Rev gauge on your dash? I know some of the 1.3's did not have them

But, unless it's Carb'ed .. the ECU should still have a pin for the RPM, just to know the fueling?

There was a post on here before about a 1.3 user chaning the dials to 1.6 with the rev gauge and they could not find the RPM signal also?

I did have the wiring diagram on the ae111 but I sold it with the car so cannot check

I took the lid of my ECU and found on the pin from connector to PCB where there was "RPM" printed on the PCB next to it..

This was a 3s-gte though ..

From my experience, the 'IG' wire goes down into the ECU! Due to the diagnostic plug is only wires from the ECU and other parts to make life easy for diagnosis!
