Oil Light

my oil light seems to come on when my revs are at idle stage anyone know why? it only happends when my cars warm

I take it there is enough oil in there??

One of three reasons

1. Low oil level

2. Bad oil pressure sender unit

3. Low oil pressure

1 is easy to fix

2 is relatively easy to fix

3 could be expensive

Sounds like the pressure relief valve for the oil pump is stuck open. When cold the oils viscous enough you can achieve enough pressure to get the light out, at higher engine speeds it's meant to be open so that's why it's out then. When warm though and the oil is nice and thin it's just being pushed straight through pressure relief hence the light comes on.

Tried taking the breather filter back out?
