Toc Weekender?

I've been having a think (and yes it hurts)

Everyone loves the whole weekend camping atmosphere of JAE, and is really gutted when its all over and done with, yes?

Well what about a secondary smaller TOC weekender another time in the year?

I ws thinking meet in a particular point, giving everyone a local map including finishing point (camp site) and peeps can take whatever route they want to. It wouldnt be a race so to speak, but a test to see for example who can get the best fuel economy etc on the way, with the first best winning a prize, and the loser having to cook the brekkie the next day? (just an idea)

Or we could just have who gets there fastest following the speed limit

Then at the camp site it would be the usual shananigans of setting up, BBQ, drinka dn hopefully fall asleep in the tent.

Just putting it forward as a possible idea, to see if anyone would be up for such a meet or not. It would probably need to be next year now anyway to get things organised.

Better to put it forward and be told its a rubbish idea than not to put it up at all

Surely the Yaris lot will win best economy anyway! I get 400 miles to a tank nowadays!

For me JAE was abotu the WHOLE atmosphere... i loved driving about the different clubs and meeting new people etc...

If TOC did this then it would be basically loads of Yaris's and a couple of MR2's.. :P

A: i dont want to loose my licence on unfamiliar roads.........

and B: 23mpg aint going to win anything ;)
