When importing a car from the Netherlands... what actually needs to be done??

I know for cars being imported from Japan there's quite a bit. But the Netherlands is in the EU etc, so there's less to do if I'm right??

Anyone know what does need done???

This is the car in question..... :D

Heavily modded rx7 with recent rebuild. Engine side of things have also been fettled with.. :)

There is no difference, you'll still need to fit a foglight for it to pass its MOT over here (if it doesnt already have one). You'll also need the de-registration documents (or whatever their equivalent is). ;)

Well the chap is brining it over to the UK to have the engine work done... that's when I was going to get it. But I assume he would have to do all the de-registration stuff first?

Or I could just drive about with foreign plates???
