As some of you may know, my Yaris is up for sale, and it has been sporting two very small car park dings.

I thought I might as well get them removed, to bring the car back to it's former gleaming condition.

Rang round a few places Saturday, and got quotes between £50 - £80.

Not bad really I thought.

Found a place in Bicester, called Aladdin Body Repair.

Their ad in the yellow pages says they are both Toyota & H*nda approved.

Thought I'd ring them, and they said if I could pop down, they'd give me a quote.

Went down, and they firstly, couldn't give me a quote whilst I was there. They'd have to send out a written quote Monday, which I received today.

Ok - I've just wasted 40 miles in petrol for this?

Well, if it's cheaper I thought, then I can't complain.

Got the letter today, and I almost wet myself with laughter.

They want over £250!!!

All it would take is to pop the rear driver's side light out, and knock the dings out from the inside.

However, they would like to filler the teeny holes, smooth it and paint it!

Have you tried a quote from Dent Devils................(National company with local operators)

They removed two vandalised dents on my T3 Yaris bonnet for £75...............excellent job

Booked in for Friday.

They'll be picking it up from work, and dropping it back to me a couple of hours later.

Been quoted £50 for the job.

The only thing the chap pointed out, is there may be a slight dent left, as the larger of the 2 dents, is on the body line.

He said if they can't do it, then there's no charge.

Well, picked up at 11am, dropped off at 12:45pm.

Dents removed, all for the sum total of £60.

No blemishes have been left at all.

Don't think I have any I'm afraid.

They were only about the size of a 2 penny piece, and about half a cm deep. Not huge dents, but annoying ones all the same.

I suppose you will be wanting to keep it now ;)

Found a pic I had manage to take at some point, which shows what the dents were like:

You can see the main dent, but just to the right of it, there is also a very small dent you can't really see in the pic.

It could really only be seen at certain angles.

All now gone though! :D
