I have just got my self a 1.6sr and am quite dissappointed with its performance :crybaby: am thinking about fitting an induction kit and can not find one anywhere! Does anyone know of one? And will it affect the cars warranty? thanks in advance

Welcome :)

Did you not drive the car and realise you didnt like the performance before you bought it?

And yes it will void your warranty  !

However you can always take it off if you have any problems with the car before you take it to Toyota ;) !

Doh no i did not, you see where i live its just s small island and they did not have a SR to test but did test the 1.4 D4D and it was quite nippy so i assumed the 1.6 petrol would be a bit better but not so sure :( sonow need to try and improve it somehow :help:

'SR' is only sport looks. engine wise nothing changed...

To increase power consider the following:

-Intake kit (propa intake with the intake kit underneath the wheel arch so it captures cold air not hot air within the engine.

-exhaust to increase break house

-fuel

Yep plus give it chance for the engine to bed in a little  !

The 1.4 diesel is pretty good isn't it, not much difference between that and the 2l apart from 70mph+

And dare I say the 1.4 D4D prolly has more tuning potential than the 1.6?! :!Removed!:
