Custom Diy Under Seat Subwoofer

Hello!

I am thinking of building a subwoofer for under the seat of my 54 Yaris Diesel.

According to my searches the only references I could find to under seat subwoofers were a Toyota accessory.

Has anyone done this?

Are there any hints or tips available anywhere?

I have googled and only found links to aftermarket slim under seat subwoofers from Alpine, Pioneer, etc.

What I was thinking of was building my own underseat cabinet. I have been searching for plans or diagrams on the Internet but no joy so far.

Its ok - its not going to change your life but it helps a lot with the overall bass in the car...

... I had one - since sold on as I have changed the install around a fair bit to deal with the stripped rear of the car.

For the money its expensive, but if you pick one up second hand it'd be worth it.
