Mark 2 Clicky Clutch

I got to drive a mark 2 Yaris the other day as a courtesy car. Have to say I quite liked it (1.3 T3) but have a question about the clutch pedal. Do they all make a loud click when almost fully depressed? It just didn't feel right.

My Brothers had 4 Yaris's now, 1.0, 1.3 and 2 T Sport's. I don't remember any of them having this problem... I know he had the same sort of problem with a Corolla courtesy car though when he wrote off his T pot.
