Hello!

Does anyone know how to get at the back of the factory fitted radio in a 2002 Toyota Avensis.

I wish to connect my iPod to it- I have seen these cable advertised so you can connect the iPod and control it using CD changer controls? Any have any experience of installing one of these?

Any tips/pics ?

Ben

If so, it's dead easy. Just pull the centre console trim at the bottom, I found it easier to remove the ashtray first. It should come 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

Then run your fingers along the edges of the trim you just pulled outand pull it out at the sides by the same amount. The entire centre console should pull out by about 3/4 inch. Then you have to lift it all up by about half an inch. You can then pull it all out, being careful of all the wires that are there.

It sounds harder than it is, but once you do it and see where it all clips together you'll see how easy it really is.

Funkyg.

BTW, which iPod have you gone for?
