Whats With The Silver And Gold Membership?

Hi, I'm fairly new to TOC and have noticed that some people are silver or gold members and have their own 'special' forum and everything. Does one have to spend years climbing the ranks to achieve such status or do you just post a tenner off somewhere? i have looked for a 'newbie guide' or similar and not seen anything.... Its quite likely that i'm just being blind!

No rank climbing necessary

Gold membership is temporarily cancelled at the moment as we are having a brand new top tier membership coming soon - silver and bronze membership is still very much open so feel free to join up!
