Roof Rails On A Mark 1

Hello all, Just bought a 1999 5 door, mark 1, and looking to fit roof rails. Main dealer says they only do roof bars that fit into the fixings under the sliding bit on the roof track. Does anyone know of a firm that makes or sells roof rails that I can permanently fix into these tracks? Does anyone have a Mark 1 with roof rails fitted, maybe on a special edition?
