anyone know what specengine iol to use in my 93 , 2.4 td surf ? , is the synthetic stuff any good for old engines ?????

i just use toyotas own oil 5w/30 it's made by Shell, and change it every 6 months .

if you go on to synthetic oils it dont mix too well with proper oil and you end up having to use syn oil all the time ( as far as i know ) you can't chop n change.

it may be a bit thin too and cause oil leaks ( but i'm no professional )
