Maint Req'd Light

I got my 2005 Corolla 6 monthes ago and change engine oil every 3000 miles. But this time the "maint reqd" light on for only 2000 miles from my last changing. Is it normal during the winter or maybe my car has some problem??

I think the maintenance light you refer to is actually an engine fault light.

Best get a code reader on it and check it out.

The European Corollas don't have 'service due' lights but not sure about the American versions ;)
