Hi,

Soon to own Auris T-Spirit 2.0l d4d newbie here,

Just wondering if there are any particular insurance companies that are worth going for. I've had quotes ranging from £640-over £1500!!

27 yrs old, 4 yrs ncb

Done the usual confused.com and compare the market.com, but know there are insurance companies that dont get looked into on those sites. I know each quote will be different depending on mileage, location of vehicle overnight etc, but was just wondering if anybody else has already got insurance that was a load better than what i've currently been quoted.

Any info would be a help...got till 10th march till I pick it up!

Cheers

Hello and welcome to the TOC club. Have you tried toyota insurance that is who i am with and my wife also, they are very helpfull, when you get your auris you will get 12 months membership to toyota club and if you can wait till this comes you will get a extra 5% off your toyota insurance but you must tell them you are a member of toyota club after you get the quote hope this helps.

Good choice of car.

I am 29 with 5+ years no claims with the same motor as you and with my older wife as a second driver. Admiral gave it to me for £225 :toast: and I chose around £450 excess but thats ok as I will not crash it.

...but like you I did use confuced.com.

Try Privilege who are under writen by Direct Line. They have opted out of Confused.com so you will have to get seperate quote direct from them. They only insure over 25's with 4years NCB+ and were much cheaper for me than any quotes I got from confused.com and moneysupermarket.

I have the same car as you are getting but my insurance swapped over from a leon cupra so don't have exact figure for just the Auris yet but I only paid £580 for the Leon with them (which was 6 insurance groups higher than the Auris) registered in Manchester at 25 with 6years NCB and £250 excess. When I switched to my Auris I got £90 rebate with 6months left on my policy. :D
