1) Does anyone know if the alloy wheels fitted to the 3ltr V6 estate (1993) will fit onto a 2.2ltr Estate(1994)

Yes they will fit your Camry wheel fitment is 5x114 35 to 42 60.1

2) How do they compare size wise (Could I just change the tyres) and will clearances be ok

They will be the same fitment. If the wheels are a differect size i.e. 15" or 16" then you can just get different tyres that will keep the wheel circumfence the same therefore not making your speedo over read. The tyres sizes that you need will be:

15" wheel - 205/65/15

16" wheel - 215/55/16

17" wheel - 215/50/17

The clearance will be fine if you have the tyre size stated above with the correct wheel size.

3) Are the brakes different?

I doubt it, but I do not know.

4) Is the fuel tank the same?

It should be, but again not 100% sure.

5) Will a towbar fit from one to another?

Yes it should fit, but check with a Toyota dealer to see if the V6 and diesel can have the same tow bar (assuming it is a genuine Toyota one)

6) finally will the roof rails fitted to the 3Ltr Estate fit onto the non roof railed 2.2Ltr Estate?

Not sure but if it has the same roof then it should.
