Spare Wheel Cover

Hi Just purchased a spare wheel cover (via ebay). It says that it is a factory fit spare for 01-03 model but depending on chassis number will depend if it has correct fitting, anyone know what extra fitting I need. Have already got a spare fitted with half cover, will I need anything extra?

Are you buying the whole wheel cover - or just the front part (I am guessing)?

Essentially, the cover is a two-part thing - one bit (unpainted black) goes behind the wheel (between the spare and the rear door) and then the front - painted part - fits over the spare and just clips onto the back part.

Not sure if there are any other parts needed - don't think so :unsure:

Looking in my 2002 brochure it shows an NV optional hard spare wheel cover and specifically says is not colour coded. It has RAV4 written across it and some kind of central hole for fixing? My own VX vehicle spare wheel cover has no writing nor central hole - don't know if the two types are interchangeable , which one is it ?

Thanx for help guys, The seller left a telephone number when contacted was very helpful and as the cover wont fit the car(nv) and a backing plate would cost £117 he was quite happy to cancel the transaction. Wish all sellers on E-Bay were the same. :D :D :lol:
