Squeaky Tailgate On 04 Tourer

Hi,

The tailgate on my tourer always squeaks when it is open/closed. The squeak comes from the struts. I have lubricated them using wd40/grease/3in1 oil/silicon spray, however the squeak always returns after a day or so. Any ideas anyone.
