Avensis Boot Hinge Cable Covers

I have a 2002 2-litre Avensis and cannot get sense from my Toyota dealer as to whether it should have a cable cover on each of the boot hinges or on just one. It certainly looks better with two but there is a cable running along the offside hinge only.

The question has arisen because of an accident resulting in the boot being replaced by my insurer's garage which is not a Toyota dealer.

If you have access to one of these cars, please let me know.
