I have been told a Diesel Auto Rav will be available towards the end of this year. Anybody got any further info??

Really looking forward to trying/buying one as auto is soon going to be essential.

Looked at new Freelander 2 diesel auto but fuel consumption only about 25-28mpg although 35 is claimed. Also past history of Freelander not a good advert!!!

It would be great if they do, the current Toyota range does lack a good powered Diesel Auto. Although I have been told that the next Diesel Auto is likely to be in the new Avensis due 2009.
