Tns 200 Override?

Sometimes I've needed to turn on the TNS200 Satnav in my Yaris while moving, but as a safety feature it cannot be adjusted while the car is moving.

Is there an easy way of overriding this?

To put it bluntly.... No!

It is designed to only be operated from about five mph, or less and to override this, you would need to disconnect the speed sensor. However, if you did this, the sat nav would have no idea how fast you were travelling and how far you have gone, so would not know where you were!

It is easier just to accept that, for you and your passengers safety, this system is fitted. B)
