Scooby Drivers?

Is it just me or do most subaru drivers come accross as being really rude??

i was driving along this morning when an impreza pulled up alond side me. to be honest, it looked abit crap but he had nice wheels. so as i was driving a looked at his wheels twice (also trying no keep an eye on the road in front of me) anyway, i looked up at the driver and he gave me the most horrible dirty look! what a cheek!!

also, i was at some jap performance thing a few weeks ago in a field in reading with my bloke and our mate. we were walking about looking at all the cars when we came across this really really nice scooby, probably one of the nicest ive seen. anyway, whilst walking round and looking at the car we spoke to the driver, this is how the convo went...

My Mate :- 'nice car mate'

Scooby man :- 'yeah' (blank expression

My Mate :- asked a question about it?

Scooby man :- ignored him

My mate :- excuse me, not sure if you've noticed but your tax disk is out of date' (in a friendly way)

Scooby man :- 'why dont you p**s off, its in the F****ng post'

im not being funny, bit how rude was that!!!!

im not saying all scooby drivers are rude but most of them seem to (especially middle age men) look down their nose at people!

xx

Probably something to do with the size of their ego..........or manhood :D:

I often find it's the people who cant really afford to run them have that bad attitude, but it is also something happening more and more in life, rudeness and agressive behaviour.........shoot the b&$^"*ds I say

Kingo

LOL!!!!

i was thinking that exact same thing. didnt wanna say they were over compensating for the size of their manhood incase i offended anyone but its true!

When I have stopped at lights, I tend not to look left or right into other cars...just keep looking straight ahead (unless I am turning) or unless its an MR2 I am next too.

Peeps tend to start revving their engines and act very childish as if asking for a quick start of the line. :fear:

Idiots the lot of them.

As for scooby drivers I only speak to the ones I know, and they had Celica's before hand, so I know they are ok.

i agree.

i get alot of young boy racers around my area. ones who drive corsa's and novas and that and when they see me or if they are beside me at lights they always try and race me.

a couple of times, if they have annoyed me, ive raced them and left them at the lights but not often. i tend not to race people often though.

but as for scooby drivers, their utter sense of 'im so much better than you' really does annoy me.

like you, i only really talk to the ones i know.

The Scooby appears to be the chav car of jap world, every man and his dog has one, personally think they are the new BMW driver!!

As for boy racers, around here you have to laugh, I often get the big exhausted Corsa try and take me as I normally drive the pickup, they don't stand a chance lmao :)

I've noticed a lot more 1.6 and 2.0 Sports popping up too being driven by yound lads thinking they're the Dogs rollocks.

In the past 3 months I've noticed a massive increase in WRX's flying around like maniacs just to make their dump valves go off.

and yes... They do seem to be turning into the modern day BMW driver thinking they own the road.

I still remember the time i was driving round Hull with my top down when a couple of chavs pulled along side and the passenger said "You only drive that because you've got a small di.ck", so I replied in my best mincing voice "Ooooo! you promised you wouldn't tell anybody"....His mate, the driver nearly wet himself laughing.

i find that as well especially now when i got the levin! you get the chavs in there coras's and novas, and then you get the 'richer' young chavs in their 206 'sports' hatch etc etc revving their little engines at the lights trying to get a race out of you, but when the lights go green i would just move off in a nice manner letting them speed off with their pathetic cars (sorry anyone here that ones one as a second car bla bla bla!) and the engine sounds like its gonna pop! thinking they are the dogs danglies but you know that they themselfs and their 'cool' passanger friends knows that if i put my foot down they would be tasting my dust!

when i used to have my lil corolla, cars like golf's, audis, etc would race me off the line coz they knew that they would beat it! with the levin i got now i havent got any of that yet! well i had a turbo xr3i trying to race me but backed off after a while, think he was a scared of getting beat! but in reallity the escort would probably whooped my a$$!

as for scooby drivers, i know a mate that owns one and he is sound as a pound! but there are A LOT of people driving scoobies now, especially the older ones coz they are cheap fun!

In the 2 years I had my 350Z I lost count of the number of scooby drivers that tried to race me.... I never bothered until one guy swore at me on a hot evening  Although it took a short while I managed to burn him off and he shrank back into his Shell

Sadly the chav wallies give the scooby a bad name

i agree steve.

there was a time in the distant past where scoobys use to be something of a rare novelty. but now you get these adolecsent little ******s driving them and making a fool of themselves. especially when they have made more of an effort fixing up their 'sub woofer' and 'massive parcel shelf speakers' rather than refurbing the engine and making it run how it should.

its a shame really, scoobys are losing their cred!

Round near me it's mainly BMW and Merc drivers who are complete :censor:

There seems to be quite a bit of respect between all Jap car drivers in my area.
