Fitted a Connects2 AUX cable to my 03 Yaris Colour Collection. All the ports and connection matched up and fitted fine. But when I change the input (using the TAPE-CD button) Nothing happends! Is there a button I'm missing or something?

Thanks

You may need to press it twice, like when you have a toyota auto changer as well as a cd/tapr deck.

also, lots of people have had trouble getting the connects cables to work properly

Hmm I pressed it loads of times...but next time will try pressing it twice quickly. Any other ideas?

Any luck with this? I was thinking of getting the same thing.

Hey, Havn't tried again yet since I'm waiting for arnold clark to change a speaker that rattled when I bought the car. No fitting it so they don't get the idea I messed it up

OK, would be great if you could let me know how you get on before I jump in and buy one myself :)

Success! Tried it again tonight and it worked! Pressed the tape-Cd button and it changed input no problem. I'm guessing when I tried it first time that there was a loose connection which didn't register with the head unit.

Just have to wait for arnold clark fit a new speaker to replace a faulty one so that I can make my aux connection permanent. The empty space for a after market head unit allows a nice space for the silver Connects2 Box to fit in.

Glad to hear it. Was it difficult to install? Whats the sound quality like?

Easy enough to fit with common sense, because the Connects2 guide is pretty generic. Quailty is fine since it is a wired input. Need to know a good make of speaker to upgrade the dashboard next. But starting a new thread for that.
