Recently Published Noise Levels For Tyres (dutch Government)

I recently stumbled across some official data published by the Dutch Government regarding the noise levels produced by different tyres. As we all know the Avensis can suffer from tyre roar so I thought it would be usefull. The figure given is the recorded decebel level (dB) below the EU benchmark, ie. the higher the figure, the quieter the tyre. (All below are for 205/55 r16)

Joint First Place (8dB) : Yokohama AVS DB550 and Goodyear GSD3 Eagle F1

Third Place (7dB): Goodyear Excellence
