Dears

I have just converted my Corolla 1989 engine into blacktop 1.6. The sound coming from the engine is so noise. Is the engine oil effect that ( I am using 10-30 Grade). I feel the power not that high as well.

Please help

what sound? is it an exhaust sound from a leaking manifold? or its a tappety sound from the cylinder head?
