Will 98 Bull Bar Fit 04 Model

Hi there

First post. Wife has had a 98 3dr for four years and loves it. Now has 230,000 kms on it. Just bought a 2004 3dr to replace it and being delivered next week. Her 98 has front bars and side bars. Anyone know if they will fit the 04 model?

Also the 04 has steel wheels but her 98 has nice alloys. Will they transfer? the size and offset seem to be the same.

Any help appreciated.

looking forward to stereo upgrade info on the forum.

Welcome Fylor!

As far as I can see, all Rav4s take the same size alloy fitting (regardless of wheel diameter) - to check, please see here - so I think the answer to the wheels is "yes"

I doubt that the bull bar/side bars will fit, but if you are not too worried about selling the old Rav with it on, why not take them off and see. There's a technical document site here, I'd suggest you do a search in the accessory installation manuals and compare the document for the two bull bars and the side bars (they are pdf files) which may give you some help if not an actual definitive answer.

Good luck and, again, welcome

PS I started by buying one for my better half, loved it so much that I bought myself one, too. Beware!! :)

Hi Robert

Thanks for the response. I will get on to those right now!

Didn't expect to get a reply from an Irishman! I am from Tyrone but been living in Spain for last 6 years.

Thanks again.

I drive a Subaru FXT (don't suppose I am supposed to say that here) ;)
