Mot Failure

Hi All, Just got my MOT back and it failed on emissions Lambda reading: Fast Idle Test Lambda at 2566 rpm = 1.13 Second Fast Idle Test Lambda at 2477 rpm = 1.14 Reading other posts it seems quite common on the older style MR2 that the Lambda sensor goes, is this the case with the Roadsters? Or does it point to a further deep routed issue? Any help would be appreaciated...... Oh its a 2000 MR2 Roadster - Jap Import - 57K on the clock Cheers,
