Wheel Balance Problem

I have a 54 reg celica and i have a wheel balance problem at just below 80 miles an hour. I have had the tyres balanced and it doesn't seem to have helped and if i drive any faster the steering becomes light has any body got any idea what it could be. thanks

I thought might be the case but the tyre tread on the tyres is even. thanks for getting back to me

a buckled wheel may not affect the tread on the tyres.

I had a buckled alloy wheel, tyres were fine.

Take your wheels off and check if the wheels are perfectly round on the other side you can not see.
