How Fast Really Is The Sr 180

A few people say the sr 180 is good for 140 mph in standard form,is this really true.Ive not got the gust to try myself

I dont believe it can do 140... Personal experience (on an air field of course) suggests that 130 is probably max.

Mine is capable of 136 mph and that is checked with a GPS, with my ProMotech tuningbox fitted it maxes out at 147 mph.

where did you get your tuning box from dose this help your fuel consumption. what dose this take your bhp and torque figures too I sent dtuk an email with these questions about a week ago with no reply

They claim more possibly due to altered driving styles, but I think it's about the same MPG in reality. If you push it it will be much less.

I keep getting put off by chip tuning because some people claim the Toyota engines can cut out when pushed... but i don't know for sure. I have also had to return one box as I just could not get it it to work without the engine management light coming on. The increase in inurance was not much more.

i belive they do, anywhere between 5-15mph! i should invest in a sat nav to get a more accurate result

Is max speed achieved in 5th or 6th gear on those private test tracks you have access to?
