Hello Guys.

Looking to upgrade the Audio on my 02 plate Celica want to install a player with mp3 but have not been able to find one with the same dimensions as the original Sony.

Have any of you guys changed the audio on your own car and what unit did you use if possible do not want to start altering the wiring.

A few of us have replaced audio. Most have replaced the double din unit for a single din one and a converting face plate. If you want to stick to double din, you are looking at big bucks already for something named. I think the cheapest that will do what you want comes in around £300, and is made by Kenwood. Most double dins around now are all about big displays, DVDs, and possibly integrated SatNav. And that all comes at a price...

You will have to have some kind of wire alterations, but a reasonable named product will have a wiring adaptor available as well (about a tenner) that will plug in to the car's existing loom, and the stereo, without you having to get the cutters out, so don't let wiring put you off.
