Mr2 Door Stop Fixing Points Question

Hi all. I have just purchased a 1991 2.0 MR2. I must say I have not had so much fun driving a car since my teens (ford capri 1600 gtxlr) thats how long ago. Man it's awesome in the wet. Anyway back to my problem.

The door stop located between the two door hinges has come partly adrift at the a frame end (between the wing and the drivers footwell). Could anyone please tell me where the bracket should fix and the means it uses to to the same, Also the procedure to get access to this bracket.

Any information would be much appreciated as the manual Ihave makes no mention to this part of the vehicle.

Many thanks in advance

I have had a quick look at mine this morning (could look last night coz it was too dark).. if its the part where the bar moved through the hole in the door shut area I'm guessing you would have to take out the wheel arch trim closest to the door and get to it there, I cant see any fixing points so I'm guessing it bolts from the outside. You sould have a good look round one afternoon!

Sorry I cant be much more of a help but if you find out let us know!
