Hello

I have a 95 e101 si with only one immobiliser key, the one with the chip built in. Does anyone know how much a new one costs and whther the key needs to be programmed in some way?

A new key will be main dealer only (but see last paragraph below*) and may cost approx £80.00 !!!

But ...

...in some cases (depending on model) TWO new keys will have to be ordered and complete re-programing required.

*try yellow pages - there are a few decent vehicle 'locksmiths' and many mid 90's cars (simpler) have an 'open chip' which can allow recoding.
