Picnic Lamps And The Endless Search For A Used Expansion Tank...

:o Hello

Firstly, side light lamps on a 'Picnic'. Now here's the question; was the guy or lady who designed the front headlamps on a 'Picnic' having a laugh? I spent 1 hour scratching my head (now full of grease marks) trying to work out how you can gain clear access to the side lamps without removing the front grill/spoiler?

Elsewhere people have mentioned removing the Battery, which I did to get access to replace the HL main and dipped lamps, but quite how you get to the side lamps I really don't know?

Could anybody just suggest a route to change these lamps? Both the Battery, and on the other side, the wiper fluid bottle when removed still will not allow access.

My second gripe is...an expansion tank for my 'picnic'. Despite repeated efforts, I'm not able to source a secondhand unit anywhere. My local dealership have said they could provide it, however, the required 'second mortgage' really isn't viable...close on £190 for a plastic bottle with three hose outlets and a metal screw top cap...breathtaking & totally over the top!

Despite the problems above, I love the cars dearly...when they are working of course!
