Hey Everybody, I recently purchased a 2001 Toyota Celica GT and I'm having some issues with the alarm. When I leave the car unlocked with all the doors closed the alarm automatically turns on after a minute or so. Keep in mind that it's not automatically locking, just the alarm is turning on. This is really getting annoying because now, if I walk away from my car for just a minute, or leave it in my garage, I still have to pull out the remote and "unlock" the car to avoid the alarm. Is there any way around this or is this a standard feature on Gen 7 models? I'm not sure whether the alarm is aftermarket or from Toyota. Thanks for all your help in advance!
