right could do with a bit of a brain pickin please, my mate has a nissan 200sx an havin a problem with oil temp goin up to like 120 degrees

replaced the big ends last weekend (not because of oil temp problem, because of knockin)

and replaced oil cooler yesterday

he's not had much help of his forum, thought if i could scratch a few heads in here

any help would be grateful, as i want it runnin so he can take me driftin in it lol!!!!!

First thing that comes to mind is the oil pump - if that's not pumping them oil will overheat and those knocking big ends could have been caused by lack of oil being pumped.

we've assumed the oil pump is workin fine as the oil pressure is ok at cold an when warmed up
