Auris Cd Plyer Broken

Has anyone else had trouble with the CD player in a Auris T2. Ours stopped working on Saturday wont play any type of disc just makes a skipping sound radio ok. It is due for 1st service at end of month so going to book it in early to get cd fixed as well as service. This is the 2nd electrical item to fail the ciggy lighter didnt work about 6 weeks ago. Also with the rubber smell when reversing uphill i am so far not impressed with this my first Toyota.

I took out my headunit a few weeks after buying the car to put in a JVC one.

You can have mine for a few notes if u want cos at the min its sitting doing nothing in a corner..

Worked fine before i took it out

His Auris will still be under the 3 year Toyota warranty so I doubt he will need it.

If I was you I would keep it till you sell the car, as the next owner would probably want it standard
