Central Lockings Gone Wonky

2003 t sport 5 dr the central locking only works by putting the key in the lock

neither of the keys work if you perss the buttons and it's not the batteries in the keys

the wifes key was new 8 or 9 months ago, all was fine untill yesterday but now i have to lock it

without the alarm !!! not good anybody got any ideas love it if anybody knows whats up :rolleyes:

You didn't put your new sticker over the sensor did you? :lol:

Erm, Can't think of any reason Chris, Dirty sensor / Broken sensor? DOn't ask me where it is though 'cos I haven't a clue!

not unless it's on the boot lid gonna try the Battery connection off reset see if that does any good :unsure:

its gone out of sync by the sounds of it. i think you have to put the key in the ignition and then press the button or something like that. i can't remember off the top of my head. phone up toyota and ask them.

thanks for the info just been out to try pressing the button with the key in the ignition and just out of habbit pressed the key button to unlock it and it works fine again now, seems this car fixes itself !!?
