i'm after something more sporty and seen as mine has such low milage and recent split from the missus leaving me with more money and time and not been nagged for spending so much on fuel or the car so i was wondering what i'd get for it if i did sell it

been a toyota avensis 2.0l gls r reg 37thousand genuin miles pretty much all the service stamps in the book recently as in last week passed an mot nothing even mentioned and 6months tax few scratches around the body tyres are all great too

its had a full cleaning and polish too.

so if i was to try selling it what would or could i expect???

looking on parkers car guide and at 100k miles around £1250

I expect there would be a queue of taxi drivers after your car, however as there is a fair bit of damage, i think you would struggle to get more than £750 for it. If you were to sort all the damage it would be more like £1250 - £1500, IMO. The low mileage doesnt affect the value of cars so much when they get older.

Got to agree with Cabcurtains here ........... I'd jump at an offer if someone came along with £600.
