Yaris Airbag Light

Hi I just picked up my 57 reg t2 yaris today and have noticed the airbag light isnt going out has it is suppoed to, is this normal or is it a fault? If tis a fault is it major or easily fixed, hope some one can help with any info

Air bag light should go off after a few seconds, if its on all the time it is showing a fault, usually a sensor, book it in for Toyota to take a look being a 57 plate it is still under warantee..

I have the same problem on my Yaris 55 T Sport. Sometimes the airbag light would come on and stay for a week, then would disappear...but only to reappear after a few months. Most likely to be the sensors. Toyota says it'll cost me £90 just to have a look at it, then another amount to fix it. Didn't bother, only the senor anyways.
