Picked up a 1977 Corolla for a daily driver and a bit of a project on the side... It's got the 65hp 1.2L OHV in it, and boy does it fly!!! (sarcasm for those who didn't pick up on it) ;)

so question is... what can be done to this little thing to give it some more pep? I don't plan on rebuilding it or making a race engine out of it or whatever, but simple add-ons or parts swaps from other motors, or other cheap and easy ways to get enough kick out of this thing to at least keep up with traffic would be nice.

Getting it to 100bhp would be sufficient!

Im not sure! it costs alot of money to get bhp upgrades, try better air flow, ermmmmmmm other then that people help!
