How Do I Replace My 2005 Lc3 Alternator

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a 2005 LC3

D4-d

I have a very noisy alternator, and need to find out how to change it.

In from the top, or up from under.

it looks almost impossible from the top, and just as tough from the underneath!

Perhaps there is a plate/panel I can remove after removing the front drivers wheel.

All help and advice greatly appreciated.

Not a clue as I don't work on cars anymore and I rarely have to look under the bonnet :)

Did you try this same question over on TLOC

Does your air con compressor sit above the alternator? If it does ,undo the 4 retaining bolts and carefully move it out of the way without kinking the rubber hoses
