If you like Half-Life 2, you'll know how good the Source engine can be.

If you liked Half-Life.... This is the mod for you!

I've been following this mod for quite some time now (3-4 years!). Since Valve released Half-Life:Source which was a complete letdown!

The team of designers on this mod have done a superb job! It's a complete re-work of Half-Life with the Half-Life 2: Episode 2 Source engine. So to play it you WILL need Episode 2 installed on your system.

The mod hasn't been released yet, afterall they have made a whole game + multiplayer... Visit This link for their website. While you're at it, watch this YouTube video! Roll on 2009!

Please wait a few seconds for Video to load!

Watch the HD version if you can, Far better! Especially on full screen!

Opinions?

Yup. It's completely free!

Yet another reason why PC > Any Console! :D Sure, you have to upgrade it more often but pfft. Who cares? :D

Shall have to update my PC though - As this current one runs HL2 Ep2 at full specs around 30FPS. Could do with a bit more!

I love all the original games :D

Keep going back to them after a few months and play them in order.

H-L, OpFor, BS, H-L 2, Ep1, Ep2. Now.... What will come first you think Ep3 or BMS? BMS say 2009... but we'll see!

There's quite a few Easter Eggs in OpFor! See if you can find any! ;)

..... Or cheat and look on Youtube!

Booooo Op For crashes at a certain point.... and it looks like the only way past is to cheat and skip the end of a level :(

Let me guess...

You press a button to open the door in to the teleport chamber where as Freeman in HL you jump in to go to Xen?

'Cos that's where it crashes on me!

Correct!!!

Very annoying! still used the cheat to get past the crash bit.. since then played and finished "blue shift" for the first time.. pretty cool!
