Cts Discs

Hi Guys

I was just wondering what sort of mileage i should expect to get from the CTS Discs.

It's just that my CTS has had it's 30k mile service and the pads and discs are 90% worn.

Toyota are going to get the discs replaced under warrenty.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has worn their discs out by 30k miles

Cheers

My 30k Service is Friday of next week, i'll let you know.

Unfortunately, I have only done about 3000 of the miles myself, so I don't know how hard it has been driven.

Hello,

When my car went in last week the dealer was talking about the

discs being worn and said they might have to be ground down at

some point in the future. I've done 15k miles, and the pads are still

70% left or more.

I was told the pads on the CTS are a harder compound than normal

and tend to wear the discs. Don't see the need to grind the discs,

though. Will have to check that at the next service.

Cheers

Paul.

My 8 months old t sport has just done 38,400 miles and I have just changed all the disc and pads on 220104 and it certainly feels much better.... my colleague had his T3 done when it's 26,000 miles...
