i hav a cressida and its making alot of noise when i start it and drive i think the revs is high can any1 help me with this problem

I am with Karma on this one and a benefit of less revs is a fact that you will burn less fuel

I think that he possibly means that his tickover is too fast

Unsure about the car model, Carb or Injection? Have you looked to see if there is an idle screw somewhere near the throttle cable?
