1996 2.0 Gt (uk) Towbar?

Hello, yes, I know, it's not right fitting a towbar to it, but I want to :D

Anyone any experience buying / fitting one?

I'm getting different info from different suppliers

Witter list one, the TY102 but the description says it'll fit 2WD but not GT :( Do you think they mean it won't fit GT4?

One seller (of considerable feedback repute) on eBay is 100% sure it will fit a 2WD GT, he says there's no difference in the 2WD back end set up?

Confused. Can anyone confirm / deny this?

oops, I mean 1998 not 1996.

i think they defo mean wont fit the gt4 , as its the back end of the 4wd system that stops it being fitted.

can confirm 100% that the witter TY102 is a direct fit on a 1998 2.0GT. (in case anyones ubikd!)

Just fitted mine tonight

Can't really see it with ball off and electrics tucked away. Happy days
