Smart Entry Key Fobs

hi all, Got the smart entry system working again, best 99p ever spent and this time I did not touch the poles of the batteries! Whilst on the subject- are the key fob colours completely random? I ask this as mine were silver and my wifes were black, we traded as she has a silver yaris and my Rav is yew green so the fobs almost match. She trades her yaris in Sept for new model, should I reclaim the silver ones? Does silver represent a higher grade of model which gets preferential treatment at the dealers? No wonder she always gets the the full valet treatment when she visits the dealers, I have to beg for a wash and wax!
