Hello all,

My other half has a Rav4.1 and sitting in my shed is a brand new non leather steering wheel of my now sold 07 XT3.

I know its a 3 spoke wheel and the one on the car is a 4 spoke, would it be easy enough to get to work?

failing that anybody got an idea how much i could get for it from eBay etc? seems a shame to throw it away!!

thanks

depends on the age of the 4.1. The oldest ones had a mechanically activated airbag which is next to useless as the column has to suffer trauma before it blows - like a body hitting the steering wheel. If the new wheel has an electronic airbag, then it won't work -- doubtless the wheel would fit but its getting the airbag bit sorted. I dumped the old wheel and fitted a momo 88 - and its getting a 6 point harness to replace the 4 point soon.

If you don't want to incur costs, then sell the wheel on eBay
